Absolute Video Converter is a program that can be used to convert videos into MPEG1, MPEG2, AVI, WMV, and ASF. The source video formats list includes: VOB, DAT, ASF, AVI, WMV, MPG, and MPEG. The program supports processing more than one video at once (performing batch conversions).
The program has a built-in Audio extractor which enables you to extract the sound from any supported video. In case you don't need to extract the whole sound track from a video, you will be able to set the start and end times, that is the duration of the fragment that you want to extract. The output audio file format can be MP3, WMA or WAV. Another useful function is the ability to extract images from certain frames or a set duration of the video file. Moreover, you can specify the dimensions of the output images.
The program's interface is intuitive and has three skins that can be changed without the need to restart the application. The program displays tips when you start it in order to explain its different features to you. The new version provides a better graphical interface with new and more modern icons. |
